Госавтоинспекция Беларуси разъяснила механизм постановки на учет автомобилей, ввезенных в страну до 1 июля. С этой даты значительно увеличивается таможенная пошлина на ввоз транспортных средств. Как сообщили в управлении ГАИ МВД, регистрация транспортных средств, при ввозе которых в Беларусь в соответствии с законодательством требуется совершение таможенных операций, осуществляется на основании документов, выданных таможенными органами.

Иными словами, гражданин, имеющий на руках удостоверение таможни на ввезенное транспортное средство, может обратиться в Госавтоинспекцию для его регистрации в любое удобное для него время, в том числе после 1 июля, передает БелаПАН.

В УГАИ МВД подчеркнули, что появившаяся в интернете информация о том, что физические лица, не подавшие до 1 июля в регистрационные подразделения Госавтоинспекции документы на регистрацию ввезенных из-за границы транспортных средств, должны будут доплачивать таможенные пошлины, не соответствует действительности.

ГАИ призывает автовладельцев не поддаваться панике и рекомендует обращаться в регистрационные подразделения в начале июля только тем, у кого есть острая необходимость в эксплуатации автомобиля.
